Good day. This is my connection between the water line coming into my kitchen sink and the icemaker and water dispenser of the fridge. The saddle valve leaks when it is opened or closed, so I figure it needs to be replaced.
I believe it was not installed to code and therefore needs a complete overhaul. I tried looking at the 2013 California plumbing code but I have not idea where I am supposed to look. Could you please let me know how it should be replaced to meet code? Would the setup described here be up to code? Thank you for your help.
