Under a year old...yesterday, loud humming/buzzing for maybe 20 mins at random times throughout the day (haaven't noticed a pattern or thought about it yet)
It seems to be from the bottom freezer. I open it and instead of nice ice cubes, its the nice normal shaped ice cubes with a bunch of ice dust/shavings accumulated on it. Similarly, in the back of it, some weird vent thing is covered with water/ice frost. Ice frost everywhere basically.
Turned off the ice maker by flipping the lever. Nothing. Eventually the noise stopped but it would start again several hours later.
Also, in the top refrigerator section, a red light shines by the 'replace air filter' words. Don't know if it is related but i dont even know where the air filter is or how to replace.
thanks!
