[CA] reimbursement from losses? legaladvice

The refrigerator supplied by our apartment broke 3 times, causing all of our food to go bad. Are we entitled to any reimbursement? It was hundreds of dollars worth.

On a side note, we've had them attempt to fix our water heater 3 times. Cold showers for months. And they had to fix our heater and ac twice.

We are still in a lease. They never get back to us, don't answer emails, promise to call, etc.

What are our rights?
