Bacterial and/or Yeast Infected Soylent 2.0 soylent

Hi everybody -

As I was filling my refrigerator today - moving old bottles out of the way, filling behind them, and bringing the oldies to the front - I noticed that one of the bottles was canted at an odd angle.

Instinctively, I grabbed it and tossed it in the trash. After doing so, my work addled brain registered that the bottle was hard as a rock.

I immediately retrieved the bottle.

I have documented my findings here:

While I am a doctor, it is not in a discipline that would allow me to comment authoritatively on this subject, but as an amateur zymurgist and canner, I will speculate that this bottle has been inflated by a latent bacterial or yeast infection.

I don't think I need to emphasize that this could be a very serious issue.

I have preserved the bottle in my refrigerator in an unopened condition - in the vegetable drawer so that any explosion can be contained.
