Refrigerator Water line leaking appliancerepair

Hello all!

My wife and I have an older, two door refrigerator that has recently started leaking where the water line runs into the door for dispensing water (Picture). It's not a crazy amount of water, but enough to be annoying, but I'm unsure on where to find the white connector, which I assume is what needs to be repaired. Thanks in advance for the help!

Also, if I can double up, we have a dryer in our basement that is vented above ground level, using about 10 feet of PVC, with 2 elbows (not counting the angle the line exits the back of the dryer at). Anyone have any advice on how to improve the dryer efficiency without moving it above ground? Thanks again!
