When we moved out our refrigerator water line apparently had a slow leak and leaked into the wall behind the refrigerator which on the other side is a closet. Water soaked up into the baseboard a bit and our renters said there was a moldy smell. A company recommended by our insurance came and said there was no mold but provided a $3400 estimate to fix the water damage. He said if there was mold State Farm wouldn't cover the damage. So we filed a claim and the adjuster is coming sometime to assess whether it will be covered or not. Any advice? What if tState Farm says there in fact is mold and won't cover it? Also the $3400 estimate didn't even include the repair to the "cleanup". I'm confused.
