Where is Jacqueline Levitz? UnresolvedMysteries

This is my first post, so I apologize in advance if the formatting is screwed up or if I left anything out.

Mary Jacqueline Levitz, referred to her middle name by most, was the heiress of the Levitz Furniture fortune after her husband, Ralph Levitz, passed in March 1995. Her inheritance was estimated between $5-$15 million, and used the money to live a lavish lifestyle.

Shortly after Ralph's death, Jacqueline moved to Vicksburg, Mississippi and began remodeling her new home. During the remodeling Jacqueline decided to live in the home, with only a mattress, a refrigerator and some plastic lawn chairs to serve as furniture.

On the day of her disappearance, November 18, 1995, Jacqueline was last seen by a store clerk while purchasing wallpaper for her new home. Since then she has never been heard from again. After not being able to get into contact with her, relatives began to worry and went to her home two days later to investigate. They found the front door open with apparent signs of a struggle; broken false fingernails, disheveled fur coats and clothes, and, to their horror, a mattress soaked with blood that had been turned over to conceal a bloody floor. Additionally, a glass of water was found on the windowsill that appeared to have been drank out of and left out, something that would have been uncharacteristic of Jacqueline to do.

Despite the signs of an assault, Jacqueline's valuables appeared to have been left untouched aside from her purse and makeup bag being missing. In fact, being a woman of means, Jacqueline had several expensive fur coats and safe full of jewelry--all of which, including a pair of diamond earrings sitting on her dresser, were untouched. Her cream-colored Jaguar, an expensive model, was left in the garage as well.

The authorities and Jacqueline's relatives believe she was met with foul play, and her lawyer even speculated that she may have been the victim of a botched kidnapping. She was declared legally dead in 2000.

Some have speculated that Jacqueline's disappearance is connected to Irene Silverman's disappearance in 1998, which was at the hands of the infamous mother-son criminal duo Sante and Kenneth Chimes. Irene disappeared from her townhouse in July 1998 on 65th Street in New York City, to which Kenneth was a tenant of at the time. Detailed in Sante's journal, authorities believe that Sante and Kenny smothered Irene and transported her body within a Lincoln Towncar, which had evidence of Irene's DNA when searched later. Sante detailed Irene's financials and her Social Security information, writing checks in her name up until her arrest. The two were convicted of Irene's murder in 2000 and given 120 and 125 years in prison respectively. Sante died in prison in 2014, Kenneth is still alive today.

I heard about this case on a television program (I don't remember which one specifically, but it aired on E!) a few years back and have been following it to see if any news has come about it. It doesn't appear that there has been any developments. Based on the blood found on her mattress and floor, I would agree that she most likely died from an attack. The question is: who did it, and what was the motive?

Clearly it wasn't robbery, as all of her valuables (aside from her purse) were left untouched. And because it wasn't robbery it seems incredibly unlikely that Sante and Kenneth Chimes would be connected in any way; the only connection between Jacqueline and Irene's disappearance seems to be that they were both wealthy.

Here are the links to both Jacqueline and Irene's Charley Project pages (Irene's has more information on Sante and Kenneth Chimes, who are both really interesting to read about):
