Accidentally left refrigerator door ajar for 5.5 hrs. When I came home and discovered it, the thermometer in the fridge read 58 degrees F. I have questions about what to discard (in text below). AskCulinary

I figure most meat and dairy should be thrown away, but what about meats that are cured (bacon, canadian bacon) or vacuum-sealed?

Should I throw away cultured dairy products, like greek yogurt (unopened), a bottle of kefir (unopened), or sour cream (opened)?
