Splitting rent question personalfinance

I don't know if I am posting in the right place so sorry if this is misplaced.

3 people are moving in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. The rent is roughly $3600 usd per month. So 2 people share 1 bed 1 bath and everyone shares living room space and kitchen space.

Split down the middle it would be 1800 per room. So the room with 2 people each person pays $900 and the in the single room pays the full $1800.

The single room tenant says they should pay less rent since the living room space and the kitchen area (refrigerator space kitchen appliances ect ect) are split between 3 ways and not 2.

What is a fair amount to discount the single tenant's rent by?
