[Fan Content] Gods and Monsters 2.0: Ideas for Characters DCcomics

I'm sure many of you guys have had the pleasure of seeing Justice League: Gods and Monsters(aka how to do a dark DC movie correctly).

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's going to be a sequel. However, being the imaginative guy that I am, I began thinking of ideas for how it could have gone. I wound up creating a few concepts for characters that I thought I'd share with you guys:

Slade Wilson/Green Arrow: The hero-for-hire, Slade Wilson is the epitome of a "Libertarian Super-Hero." He travels the world, fighting oppressive regimes, nanny states, kleptocrats, communists, secret cabals, or other groups that have too much power and are preventing people from being able to work their way up in the social hierarchy.

While Oliver Queen's Green Arrow steals from the greedy and gives to the needy, Slade Wilson's Green Arrow works to create a world where anybody can claim power(be it influence, money, etc) for themselves. Of course, he's more than happy to make some money along the way.

Unlike his mainstream counterpart(Deathstroke), Slade Wilson has a stricter set of morals(though he is willing to kill if need be). He only takes money from people he perceives to be good guys. An example of this would be a socially responsible corporation that wants him to take down their shady competitor.

Professor Henry Allen/The Flash: Around 25 years ago, Henry Allen lost his son Barry in a accident involving another driver running over his son. Henry blamed himself for the tragedy, as he felt that he could have kept a better eye on Barry.

Henry never moved on from the death of his son. For almost a year, Henry obsessively thought about being able to go back in time so he could save his son.

Eventually, Henry decided he would devote his career as a researcher to finding a way to time travel. Many years down the road, Henry finally developed a device that he thought would allow him to turn back the clock.

It didn't work. But, it gave him the ability to slow down time around him, allowing him to appear to be moving at superhuman speeds.

Alexandra DeWitt/Green Lantern: After Abin Sur betrayed the Green Lantern Corps, taking on the mantle of Parralax, he proceeded to slaughter each and every member of the corps until only Ganthet remained.

Cut to a tavern in Los Angeles, Alexandra DeWitt is on a date with her fiancé Kyle Rayner. Decided to go for a smoke break, Alexandra exits the bar into an alleyway where she encounters a dying Ganthet. With nobody else to give the ring to, he passes it on to Alexandra, making her the last Green Lantern in the universe.

About two months later, Alex would go back to her apartment, only to discover that her boyfriend Kyle was murdered and stuffed into the refrigerator.

Bruce Wayne/The Joker: After Bruce Wayne witnessed the murder of his parents at the hands of Joe Chill, Bruce felt something inside him snap. Rather than crying at the sight of his dead mommy and daddy, he began to laugh hysterically. When Chill had his back turned to the boy, Bruce took a rock and bashed his head into a pulp. Bruce was never seen or heard from again, descending into the depths of Gotham's underworld and the depths of his own madness.
