[QUESTION] Noticed my amp, when not being played through, occasionally makes a noise that sounds like a compressor going on (not a compressor like the guitar effect but like a refrigerator's compressor). Any clues as to what this is? Guitar

Amp is a Fender Super Champ XD. Playing on the clean channel.

Could it be picking up some kind of interference? I had recently tested the outlet it's plugged in to so I know everything is grounded.

But I'm always pretty wary about fucking around with electricity and I'm wondering if I should be even touching this thing anymore.

Any thoughts?
