For my SO (28M) bday I (22F) filled a decorated jar with handmade magnets of his favorite obsession, doggie paws. I made each one with polymer clay, painted, etc. (all my friends say they're beautiful and I should be selling them on etsy). The number of magnets indicate the days we spent together (I etched the date on each one), and I customized the jar as well. I plan to continue making them for him to fill the jar as we spend more time together. And maybe one day fill his refrigerator with these magnets.
He said he loved it but he never really looked at it? He didn't notice the dates, he didn't even open the jar (claimed that it was too pretty to touch/open), didn't know they had diff colors, or didn't really express too much excitement or observation. But some other things I gave him
