Loud Establishment Destroyed By EMP ProRevenge

This story was removed by a mod by they said its okay to re-post it after I spoke to them so here you go:

This story takes place a few months ago, my friends father owns a home appliance repair shop in a third world country. They mostly fix stoves, refrigerators and freezers. There is a very loud night club not far from where they live, when I say loud, I mean loud. Their music is often loud enough that it can be clearly heard half a mile away.

This club plays their music well into the night/morning. Obviously this is illegal but due to poorly designed laws they get away with it, some nights they receive a fine but it doesn't seem to matter. Fines are small and they probably counted them as a business expenses. This is where the revenge comes in. For anyone that doesn't know, an EMP or Electro Magnetic Pulse is an electromagnetic wave released when a nuclear weapon is detonated in space, it destroys all electronic devices in a certain range. It's possible to create a similar effect using capacitors and a coil of wire.

Small capacitors can be found in most electronic devices these days, they store energy but unlike a battery they can release all of their energy almost instantly. Large home or business appliances such as refrigerators and freezers often have large capacitors inside. My friends dad, who is also an electric engineer but can't get an engineering job due to the countries horrible economy decided to build several larger remotely activated EMP devices, he disguised them as used alcohol bottles and my friend placed them around expensive equipment such as mixing boards.

Several hours into the night, he activated the EMP devices remotely destroying $10000's of expensive equipment. Nobody ever suspected such an elaborate plan and the equipment looked to be destroyed by a power surge. Due to the club owners tendency to waste money on drugs and hookers, and the fact that there is no such thing as warranties and insurance in their country, well the club went out of business shortly after. The end.
