I drank from my soda, while taking a shower, and realized that my drink was colder than usual. Because of this I feel like the average refrigerator ran at a much lower temperature back in the late seventies and early eighties, that being the era of refrigerator that I have. I think this because of energy efficiency standards are much higher today than they were back then and whoever was coldest won, even if not very efficient.
