Edit spelling in title... power
The power in the Pacific northwest has been out 24 hours for thousands of people. Our power is still out and current estimates are 2-3 days. All our perishables in our refrigerator and freezer that we just bought need to be tossed. We don't have a propane stove to cook so we are eating crackers right now. We have a 9 month old baby girl and are a single income family. We don't have enough emergency funds saved up yet to cover groceries. Food bank is open tomorrow but there are so many people without power right now that I think their stores are going to be wiped out pretty quick. Asking for a little financial assistance to get some groceries for our family for the week. Hopefully the power will come back on soon. :(
