Frigidaire Evaporator Fan Motor: Help w/ part identification and repair feasibility appliancerepair

Our refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling last night. According to my husband, the evaporator fan motor went out. He called a local parts store; but they insisted that the part can only be identified by the model number of the refrigerator, and we can't use the number on the part for identification. Unfortunately, the sticker is too worn. Link to Imgur album showing the sticker and part.

My husband wants to go ahead and order the part based on the part number we have in hand. Per your subreddit's rules, here's the link to Sears Parts. The item we are currently looking at is on Amazon.

My husband is quite handy, although I don't think he's ever repaired an appliance. Are we completely misguided thinking we can order the part by the part's number? Is it a DIY friendly repair, or are we in over our heads?
