TIFU by making sure my dad still wanted to be woken up at 4. NSFW tifu

My dad works early mornings at one job and goes back to work a little later after coming home for naps. I'm currently off of school and free until my job starts.

I decided to celebrate my GPA by inhaling my daily recommend amount of greens out of a bowl. I had almost forgotten how the greens taste when the smoke hits your tongue for the first time. I could feel the fiber coursing through my veins, thc vitamins in my brain and most importantly a passion for food that no earthly refrigerator could console. That's when my dad came home.

Luckily my father doesn't have the best sense of smell so I was able to play it off sneakily without arousing suspicion. You see, it doesn't matter if I smoke or not because he lets it go. However, I quit a while ago and I smoke occasionally so I try to not let him know when it is happening. He wouldn't be mad, just disappointed. The kind of disappointed your old school southern grandparent would be if they found out you were gay.

But, I pulled it off and he went to take his nap and said, "Wake me up at 4". So I made it my one goal to remember to do that. I kept it fresh in my mind, repeating it over and over as I grabbed my rolling paper and Marijuana stash.

I proceeded to role a joint resembling tree trunk and stepped out back to pray to Treesus. After I wrapped up, I went inside still reminding myself to wake up my father at 4. I realized I had smoked way too much. I wasn't accustomed to this. It's like I was a newborn baby who was experiencing the world for the first time.

So I hung out until around 3:45 when my dad came to the top of the stairs and looked at me saying "Nemesis_Bucket, I'm leaving now see you later".

That's when I fucked up.

"Ok.... Dad.. wait."

"Yes, Nemesis_Bucket"?

"Do you still want me to wake you up at 4?"

An awkward silence ensued as my father looked over his glasses at me in my desert dry eyes with a look of disbelief and disappoitment before leaving.

I pack a bowl.
