Incredibly simple, but surprisingly uncommon. Most refrigerators come with two ice-cube trays. That's usually all we need, but if a couple of guests drop by, you're instantly out of ice. During the hot months, get into the habit of producing and stockpiling ice. Ideally, you should put the cubes in a ziplock bag so they don't take on the flavours of your freezer.
