I would like to get a stool sample from my cat to be tested for giardia. I got one today, Sunday, but my vet is closed. I bagged it and its in the refrigerator. Can this be brought in Monday, 24 hours later, and still be useful? Its an out door cat so I only occasionally get a stool in her litterbox in warmer weather.
