Hello everyone,
I own an AMANA AFI2538AEB french double door refrigerator/freezer. It has a couple of issues that have come up. I'll list them below as well as what I've tried so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The water and ice maker/dispenser does not work. I have good water pressure to the unit itself.

The unit is not cooling sufficiently. Refrigerator and freezer both settle at about 40 degrees according to an appliance thermometer I placed inside.
What I've tried:

I cleaned the coils underneath the unit. I also cleaned the fan. After I did this, I plugged the unit back in and it cooled to the correct temperature for a while. This morning when I woke up, it was back at 41 degrees. It also would not turn on the compressor to begin cooling. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in to see if a hard reset would work, and it did. The unit is currently cooling. Additionally, I heard the ice maker begin to fill and the water dispenser worked for ~2 seconds and then stopped.

I replaced the water filter. I read online that this is a common reason for the ice maker and water dispenser to quit functioning. After installing the new filter, the ice maker made one batch of ice and the water dispenser worked for about a minute.

The refrigerator came in the kitchen of the house I just bought and moved into. The sellers included a replacement dispenser control board, I suspect because the dispenser quit working. I installed the board and it had no effect.
