Greetings. I need to pull a water line for my refrigerator that has to basically run several corners (both on a flat plane as well as vertically) from my sink.
The black outline is the counter.
The big green block is basically the closet from 1/2 floor below that protrudes up into the cabinet space. Basically if I drilled a pilot hole straight down from the counter top where the green is it would end up in the ceiling of the closet.
My thoughts were to hug along under the bottom-most shelf (1st shelf from the bottom) against the back wall of cabinets as much as possible.
My kitchen sink uses 1/2" steel braided hose so I was going to T-off of that and continue to use 1/2" braided hose (not copper or vinyl tubing) and step down right at the fridge.
Do you guys see any concerns with this? Are there too many twists and turns? I'm not sure how tight a corner I can turn with the braided hose so I may have to have some angled runs.
Or, what's a better approach? I can't go in from below/above the kitchen and there's no other nearby source for the water.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
