Med student needing to save as much money as possible. Need some help choosing an energy plan. personalfinance

Hi everyone. I am a med student and am getting an electricity plan at my new apartment. I calculated from a site online and it seems I will have a monthly usage of around 600 kWh. I am going with Reliant Energy and they have several plans under 3 options: 500kWh, 1000kWh, 2000kWh. My guess is to go with the 1000kWh since I am assuming I will be penalized if I go over 500kWh? I am also leaning toward the Reliant Secure Advantage 12 month plan which is 8.2 cents per kWh. They estimate online it will be $82/month.

I will be moving into a 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment. I am cold natured and tend to keep my house on the hot side even in the summer. I will also have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, 2 ceiling fans, a coffee maker, and microwave. Any help on which plan I should go with would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone in advance!
