I believe it was on Nickelodeon. It wasn't a cartoon, but was fictional still. It had some kind of pink goo brain eating monster IIRC. Scared me when I was little. Here is what I remember.
A dude woke up in the middle of the night. He saw a trail of pink slime and followed it to his kitchen. The pink monster was eating his food from his refrigerator. Pink Monster turned around and then everything went black. The man was later found standing up inside a closet or something with a door and apparently his brains were gone.
