So I need some advice on this...
Do yall think it's okay if I put my drained sauerkraut and rinsed brisket in my crockpot to be soaked in Guinness overnight?
The crockpot won't be airtight but it will have the lid over it and be inside the refrigerator. I'm wondering if this may modify the taste for the worse (such as the Guinness changing in taste overnight) or the outside of the Brisket absorbing too much alcohol creating blockage of other liquids from entering.
What do you guys think? Should I just prep it for when I'm about to slow cook or will the process explained above actually enhance the outcome? I'm going to be slowcooking for 9-11 hours.
