Should I Cold Crash My Very First Brew? Homebrewing

My very first homebrew, Northern Brewery's Block Party Amber Ale, has finished fermenting. I've been reading a lot about cold crashing lately and it sounds like a great idea. I'm fortunate to have an extra, (mostly) empty full-sized refrigerator available. Should I cold crash it for 2-3 days before bottling or should I wait until I have a few successful batches under my belt? In case you're curious, I have checked the gravity (at 1.014 yesterday and it started at 1.042) and tasted the beer. It tastes pretty good. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
