[LG refrigerator] The ice cube coldness/degree was originally set at below 0 degrees iirc. My father has set it to 8 degrees. Could this cause any issues? refrigeration

I think he's doing it to conserve energy,and I'm pretty sure the amount he'd save is negligent. Could this cause issues, and/or should he just keep it like that?
