Hello.
So for the past few days I've tried to figure out what is wrong with my refrigerator and freezer (it's essentially a freezebox built in at the top of the fridge.)
The problems just appeared out of nowhere. I was going to get some butter for my bread and I noticed the whole package was ruined, and I noticed that the temperature inside the fridge was room temperature.
What I've been doing so far:
-
Adjusting the temperature dial, tried all of the different settings it has (0-7 intensity)
-
Left the power off for some hours and then turn it back on.
-
Drag it out and look if there's any problems in the back (also took the opportunity to clean the condenser coils but they were pretty much spotless already.)
I noticed that the freezebox gets a bit lower temperature than the fridge, but it's still not very cold at all. It's probably around 10 degrees celsius in the freezebox.
There's also a big amount of "water drops" inside the fridge, coming from the freezebox.
I didn't find a fan anywhere at the back of the fridge where the compressor is, I'm not sure if the Swedish model uses one? I was trying to find more information about my fridge but all I could find was an online FAQ in Swedish.
The compressor is running and turning itself on and off in intervals as it always have done, but it doesn't seem to help.
The refrigerator in question is a "Cylinda EK 169"
Would appreciate any ideas you guys have that I could try!
