Newbie vegan here, so my cupboards and refrigerator aren't yet booming with veganism. I live with other people who aren't making the change, so I'm leaving any non-vegan food to them and starting right away as vegan, but making a slower transition from processed junk food to a whole foods diet.
In doing this, I have looked online at a couple different foods which list ingredients for the products that make the product non-vegan, but the box I have at home doesn't list that ingredient (e.g. Oreo Os online state it contains gelatin and my box at home does not).
I already bought the food, so the damage in my eyes is already done, so it wouldn't be a humongous deal for me to have accidentally consumed some animal byproduct by mistake, but I'm wondering what gives and if anyone else has experienced this?
