About the rent cost: $1,390/month includes the base rent, utilities (plumbing, water, and garbage service), PG&E, and Comcast Internet. If you want to upgrade the Comcast service to Internet and Cable, you will be responsible for paying the difference. (I'm a cable-cutting streamer.)

About the apartment: 870 sq. ft. total. Includes a master bedroom with a bathroom (which will be shared), a second bedroom (which the new roommate will occupy), central A/C and heat, a fireplace, a balcony with a view of the John D. Morgan Park, a common area, and a kitchen with microwave, stove/oven/range, refrigerator w/ freezer, and a dishwasher. Refurbished in September 2016 with new appliances and countertops. Fast and strong Internet and WiFi connection. Easy access to complex laundry room, pool, spa, and rec room.
About the room: Window with a view of the corner of Budd Ave. and San Thomas Expressway and the lawn outside of the apartment building. Plenty of room for a bed, a dresser, and a computer/work desk. Storage area in both a 3-door closet and a utility closet where the switch box and A/C unit are contained. Three power outlets but no Internet cable outlets (the router/modem is right next to the bedroom door, so we can run a cable).
About parking: The apartment comes with a complimentary, assigned covered parking space and permits for unassigned parking in the apartment parking lot, the John D. Morgan Park lot (which is just across the street from the apartment), and any available street parking around the complex. Roommates with a car will share the assigned spot with me.
About me: 27/M, Professional. Currently working contract which will end in September, but I'm already searching for new work. Relatively clean, own a guinea pig which I keep in my room, love to cook, huge comic book geek. Not very loud. Very respectful of your needs and schedule. I only occasionally have small parties with less than 5 friends in which we play card and board games (I hope you like Cards Against Humanity!) or go to the pool/spa.
About you: M/F, ages 23 to 39. Non-smoker (including vape, marijuana, and hookah), social drinker or sober (I will drink occasionally, but not enough to get drunk). Dogs and caged pets okay, but no birds or cats. (There's a pet deposit of $500 and a monthly pet rent of $40 if you're bringing a dog which you will be solely responsible for paying.) Relatively clean and responsible. Has a steady income and budgets responsibly. Looking for one roommate only, so no couples or boyfriends/girlfriends will be allowed to move in.
