First time this happened to me, thought I would share. I went to pull the first sample from a new keg this weekend and nothing was coming out of the tap. I have an off the shelf, standup refrigerator type kegerator. The compressor is in the back, and there is a metal plate covering it. Apparently after I filled the keg, when I pushed it to the back of the kegerator the beer line was pressed between the keg and that metal plate (silicone beer lines, fileld with starsan solution). This caused the line to freeze up; luckily it did not burst, and was fairly easy to thaw out.
I never thought about the position of the beer lines inside the kegerator before, but now I will be more careful to be sure I don't accidentally waste any of the fruits of my labour.
