So I live in a single dorm room. I do have access to a kitchen but I have severe back pain which makes it difficult to stand and cook. I have my sous vide setup on my desk and have a microwave and toaster in my room. So long as it doesnt require an stove or oven I can prep and make the food in my room. I am looking for relatively simple recipes, high in calories (I am 165 pounds but due to my height my doc wants me at 210), I have to avoid greens (I take blood thinners due to have a mechanical heart valve), and am allergic (fatally) to all nuts, peas, and highly concentrated soy (like soy protein drinks).
Ill eat most anything but I dislike spicy food. Im not real worried about eating the healthiest because the dining court food isnt even remotely healthy and none of the fast food places here are healthy. Itd be nice if the recipes were cheap but its not really a concern. I do have a freezer though its not a large one so most stuff should fit in a refrigerator. Im really just looking for stuff packed with flavor, calories, and protein. Like I said I can use an oven and stove but would prefer to avoid it as much as possible. Im just having trouble finding recipes since I rarely cook and dont know where to really look. Like I said, not too worried about the cost overall, just more worried about being able to do everything in my room.
Like I said, its a sort of a unique situation and could use the help. I appreciate any that you are able to give me.
