You know that habit of eating when not hungry or thinking about what you're going to eat next ... even as you're eating?! On keto, I'm full. I don't think much about eating until I feel hungry again. But sometimes I have the urge to go browse the refrigerator for old time's sake. Sometimes I actually do it. I'll sit and wonder why I'm feeling like there's an itch that needs scratching, and realize it's the old food hankerings--not that I want to eat, but it's like a phantom limb thing. I think maybe ketoers could use a new (good) habit to work on to fight the weird empties. Maybe there's a word for it I'm not aware of.
For now I'm calling it the Weird Empties. What can I do to phase out this feeling?
