I grow hydroponic basil at home to use for pesto for my New Years party, but this year it grew better than usual and is ready to harvest now,
If I let it continue to grow until the 31st, it won't have quite as good a taste.
Can I make the pesto ahead and vacuum pack it?
Is it better to leave it in the refrigerator for two weeks or freeze it?
