I understand you grew up in the sixties and seventies when things were heavier. (i.e. Cast iron, wood doors, heavy metal pot and pans) But CRIPE! The dishwasher door, really?! A simple household dishwasher door has to be SLAMMED shut. The front door to the house, SLAM. The car (2007) door, SLAM. The clothes dryer, the refrigerator, a kitchen drawer, SLAM,SLAM,SLAM! My truck-all you have to do is push the button and the trunk will automatically close. NOPE. SLAM.
