How to get out of apartment lease after 2 days? legaladvice

Hello everyone,

This is my first post here and I'm seeking advice on how to get out of my apartment lease. It is unfortunately for 15 months.

First off, upon touring the property my fiancé and I were shown a model apartment and of course it always looks slightly different then the one you'll be getting due to furniture and a layout differences. Anyway, we were told we would be getting the exact apartment we viewed minus the second bedroom as we wanted only one.

The day of move in, they did not have our file together or even remembered we were supposed to move in that day. We had already paid our deposits, etc. This should have been my first warning. After all of that and we finally got our keys, we opened the door and was greeted by a dirty microwave, chips and dents all over the walls and bottom of the doors, the tub and bathroom sink was dirty, our refrigerator light wasn't working, we have no light in our bedroom but a fixture for it and to top it all of we have noisy neighbors when we were told the place was overall quiet. It looks nothing like the apartment we were told we would be getting. It even looks much different than the photos shown by them.

I'm extremely unsatisfied and depressed about the whole situation. They told us we could break our lease by paying $1500 and giving a 60 day notice before we moved in but would there be any way to get out of this based on the information above?
