How’s it going guys. Recently got a job as an EMT and finding it hard to eat healthy. Most ems lounges here have a lot of snacks but very unhealthy snacks like cookies and donuts and candy. We work anywhere from 12-24 hour shifts At a time and sometimes don’t have time to grab food anywhere that isn’t fast food. Most food that I prepare doesn’t stay very appetizing in the ambulance without a refrigerator/microwave.
So I wanna hear some of you seasoned vets. How do you guys eat healthy in the road?
