Every single moisturizer makes me break out, so I started using oils. Still nothing great happening. I know my face responds really well to oatmeal, so I wanted to make that into a moisturizer for over night. I figured I would grind the oatmeal up in a food processor, soak it in water for a while, and then strain the oatmeal out. Could I then use the oatmeal "milk" as a moisturizer? I know that without any preservatives it wouldn't last long. I figure I'd make a new batch every two or three days and store it in the refrigerator.
Does anyone see any flaws in this and/or have any advice? If anyone else has done the same thing or something similar, I'd love to hear experiences too!
