I currently have an open room in my (3 bedroom, 3 full bath) duplex apartment. The location is within the tri-taylor/ medical district area of Chicago. Within 10 mins of Rush Medical Center, UIC, Malcolm X College, and United Center. No more than 15 mins to downtown. It is surrounded by a variety of choices for public transportation (green-line, pink-line, blue-line & 4-5 bus routes). There is also plenty of free street-parking. Currently, the apartment is occupied by 2 women in their 20s. We work full-time while pursuing degrees. We are looking for someone within our age range, has stable and ample income, honest, goal-oriented, clean, and respectful. No pets. We like to keep guests to a minimum. Not to say you can't have any....but we're not looking for a party animal. We would like someone to agree to rent until May 1, 2016 or later.
There are a total of 3 floors (1st floor is solely the entrance, 2nd & 3rd floors are the living premises).
The 2nd floor includes a large kitchen, dining room, living room, balcony, and in-unit washer & dryer with utility closet. The kitchen a huge amount of tall cabinet (15+) and granite counter space, as well as a bar. Brand new stainless-steel appliances: stove/oven, top-bottom refrigerator & freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and two-bowl kitchen sink. Towards the opposite end of the floor is a bedroom and full bath.
The 3rd floor includes an open lounge/ study area. On one side of this area is the available bedroom (very large and spacious..... covers the width of the building!). There are 5 full-length windows providing the perfect amount of sunlight, and also looks over the park. On the other side of the lounge area is the available full bathroom (shower/bath, sink, toilet, and storage). Also on this side is the third bedroom & bath. All bedroom doors have keyed access.
As stated above, the duplex is huge. You will never feel crowded or in the way! Majority of the time, we are either at work, in class, or sleeping.
Rent: $445/per month Utilities & Cable: Bills are split evenly between 3 people Internet is included with the cable
