We're all in college and this is the first time that I and one of my other roommates (20F), I'll call her Sam, have lived in an apartment versus a dormitory. We moved in with a casual friend (22F), I'll call her Jess, and a random (22F), I'll call her Jane, who seemed amiable upon first glance. Sam and I were nervous about move in because we were moving in almost a month after Jess and Jane. They assured us that it would all be okay. Upon move in, Sam and I realized that Jess and Jane had taken up every single cabinet in our large kitchen (think 15 cabinets or so) and had boxes everywhere in the living room. The apartment is a townhouse where the kitchen and living room are shared, Jess and Jane live on the lower level, and Sam and I live on the upper level. Sam and I both asked for a cabinet each to have our own space. The other two roommates wanted to share every single cabinet and mix everyone's stuff together. Sam and I weren't comfortable with this so we took our own cabinets and everything seemed fine-ish for about 3 weeks. Jess and Jane took up the entire refrigerator so Sam and I kept our stuff upstairs in mini-fridges and all of our warm food in our shared hall closet upstairs. We were never able to use the dishwasher because Jess and Jane monopolized that with their abnormally large amount of dirty dishes. Sam and I tried to ignore the issues because whenever when mentioned anything the other two would get very defensive and storm off. There was one instance where Jane gave her key to a friend of hers without telling anyone and I nearly had a heart attack coming down the stairs as a strange man walked into our house. Jane responded with defensiveness and rage when I told her that Sam and I were upset. Sam and I went home for a long weekend and when we came back Jess had moved all of our stuff out of our cabinets and mixed it in with all of their stuff. This resulted in the loss of some of my tupperware since it looks exactly like Jane's and she refused to give it back. Sam and I took our old cabinets back but now all the food they had put in the stolen cabinets is sitting on the kitchen table. They claim they have no room to put it downstairs or anywhere else but constantly keep buying new food. Jess also has a dog that she swore she would take care of but it constantly jumps all over us and poops and pees everywhere. She always claims that the stain was "already there." I'm in a year long lease with these people. What can I do? Please help!
tl;dr: Thought I knew my roommates, turns out they're really rude and disrespectful and I don't know what to do
