Hello ladies and gents. one of Kenmore's most basic models - 253.7482240E Noticed a small amount of icing building up the last few days. We were pretty packed in the fridge and freezer, so its possible we blocked vents, etc. I took off the back panel in the freezer and saw significant incing on the bottom half - which I defrosted off. I hooked everything back up now.... waiting to see if it cools down in the fridge now. I am assuming with this unit the the fan in the back of the freezer pushes air out to both the freezer and the refrigerator after it. The fan appears to be working ok - although when I feel for airflow coming in the top of the "ceiling" of the fridge - it is weak at best - although this may be how it is supposed to be.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
