Maytag refrigerator delayed start when opening door appliancerepair

Hi,

Whenever I open my refrigerator, it takes around 45sec before the lights open. When they do, the compressor always starts at the same time.

Everything is still cold. Looks to me like the refrigerator is going in "sleep mode" haha. This issue is new, the appliance is 2yo.
