I have a xghs2645kf2 refrigerator by frigidaire that has a display on the front with electronic temperature controls. I typically keep the freezer set at 6F and the refrigerator set at 36F. Recently, the temperature readings have been as low as negative 20F on the freezer side (always lower than what is set), and up to 51F on the cooler side (always higher than what is set). The reading seems to correlate (the freezer and refrigerator temperatures feel super cold and warmer than usual, respectively).
I'd love to fix this myself and have found wiring diagrams and such, but not sure which part would need replaced. I see a "defrost thermostat" part listed, but that seems to be more of an overheating sensor.
Any ideas? Thanks!
