Water is dripping down this hole on the top portion of my refrigerator (photo 1) and I believe it is coming from the freezer (photo 2). It's not leaking too bad but it seems to go in cycles. The container I put underneath it will collect maybe a 1-2 oz. of water overnight and then it's empty the rest of the day. There is some ice on the freezer corner as shown in photo 2 but other than that it looks normal.
I did some research and it appears there is a condensation drain on most freezers. Is this what it is and why would it drain directly to the refrigerator? There is any identical hole like this on the opposite side and that one is fine (no leaks).
Any thoughts?
