Why does everyone seem to dismiss the link between weed and psychotic episodes as right wing anti-drug propaganda?
I have personally experienced episodes under the influence of pot (and pot alone) where I was hearing voices, or having grand delusions that something like a refrigerator turning on was the CIA leaking nerve gas into the room to paralyze me so that they could extract and sample my teeth for drugs.
These paranoid experiences sound exactly like schizophrenic delusions, and it would make sense that I would have them sense schizophrenia runs in the family, and scientific studies have found links between marijuana and schizophrenia.
So why do I continually see people here on reddit suggesting that "no way man pot is good for you, it simply can't do that to you, you must have smoked some of the bad drugs like pcp"
