leftover salsa chicken ---> salsa chicken chili slowcooking

I made some salsa chicken the other week, and honestly didn't care for it. Came out very bland. I kept it in the fridge for 2-3 days and then froze it. I'd like to incorporate it into a chicken chili. If I do this, how long should I expect it to last in the refrigerator?
