[College Physcis] General Force Question HomeworkHelp

"A 1.2 kg magnet is capable of holding up a 0.8 kg mass. The magnet is placed on a vertical refrigerator door and given an initial push so that it slides up the door with an initial velocity of 0.11 m/s. If the coefficient of kinetic friction between the magnet and the door is 0.15, what is the initial acceleration of the magnet?"

I got this question wrong on my quiz and am still stuck on how to solve it.

I know the normal force on the magnet from the fridge 7.84N, but I am having trouble converting the Given velocity into a applied force.
