Simply Unsettling nosleep

We experience a lot of fear in our time on earth.

Close calls with bad drivers on the highway, financial woes, overly-critical bosses, stalkers, murderers, cults, mysterious noises, shadows in the corner of your eye... The list goes on and on.

But there's nothing more unsettling to me than when I'm sitting alone in my home and hearing my refrigerator open and listening to something that speaks in my voice say, "There's nothing to eat..."
