Need ideas for a Senior Capstone Project. EngineeringStudents

I'm in my last 2 semesters of my engineering degree and throughout the next year, I need to research, design and construct something for a capstone project. I have a few ideas of what I want to present to my department head for approval, but am curious on what my other fellow engineers in training can think up.

Ideas i have penned down so far are:

Off-Grid Refrigerator, Hovercraft, Wireless Traffic monitoring & control (Loose Definition of "Traffic"), Smart Greenhouse,

What other ideas do you all have or have done for a year long senior project?
