Hi everyone, I have a rental property that typically rents out to 8 guests at a time. After many of our rentals we have an entire (huge) refrigerator completely packed full of food as well as food strewn about the counter. I keep what we can use, keep some things the next guests might enjoy, and give our cleaning crew whatever they'd like to take home.
However, there is still usually a lot of space taken up, which means I need to clear it out so the next guests have room for their own items. This past cleaning I threw out an entire kitchen trash bag full of food.
Does anyone have a good idea for what to do with these perishables that are typically already open and partially used? Is there some where you can donate things like this?
