In June this year, the body a little girl was found washed up on Deer Island near Boston Harbour. She became known as 'Baby Doe' and finally on Friday, authorities identified 'Baby Doe' as Bella Neveah Amoroso Bond.
Bella's mother and step-father have both been arrested.
Rachelle Bond (her mother), 40, of Mattapan told investigators 35-year-old Michael McCarthy (step father) punched Bella in the stomach until body went lifeless. She alleges her boyfriend thought her two-year-old daughter, who had become known as 'Baby Doe', was possessed. They then placed her in a refrigerator for three months before disposing of her body.
